
Knowledge of the people, empathy and mature judgment must guide the attention to any patient. This is especially important when care involves playing. As a member of the team of health care, physician assistants are responsible for providing comprehensive and quality care to those who need and are looking for your service. This care also indicate in a manner consistent with their patient mental skills, tolerance and intellectual capacity.
(1) Common sense dictates that when the physician assistants take care of a patient, sensitivity to verbal and nonverbal communication is of utmost importance. Physicians assistants must accept religious beliefs or nonreligious of others as valid for them, but who personally disagree with those beliefs.(2) Explanations and guarantees will go far to avoid any misunderstanding of intentions or actions.
The religious beliefs of a person often helps them to make sense of suffering and disease; These beliefs may also be useful for the acceptance of future disability or death. Although medical assistants can offer religious support when requested and you must always provide references of chaplain when requested or indicated, is not ethical for medical assistants to abuse their patients forcing their beliefs (or not beliefs) about them. Physicians assistants must respect your freedom of choice, offering their support for whatever the needs of the patient, desires and beliefs.
